Advantages of building houses from FOAM BLOCKS

Service life from 80 to 150 years
Thanks to its light weight, resistance to temperature and humidity fluctuations, and to the formation of mould and fungus, it also does not attract insects.

7+-point seismic resistance
Thanks to compliance with construction requirements and the choice of materials, a gas block house withstands earthquakes of 7 points and above.

100% Energy
efficiency
Thanks to its cellular structure, its heat- and sound-insulating properties make it possible to cut heating costs by a factor of 2-3.

No seasonal restrictions on construction
Foam concrete real estate is built at any time of the year.

Budget savings
Build a foam concrete house at 2 times lower cost than brick or timber.

Erected in 2 months
The building does not experience settlement, as a massive foundation is not required due to the stability of its geometric dimensions.

Turnkey FOAM block houses
Thanks to its porous structure, this material acquires a number of valuable performance qualities. First of all, its low specific weight allows buildings to be erected without significant loads on the foundation. In addition, foam blocks are effective heat-insulating and sound-absorbing elements, which makes them indispensable in the construction of residential properties.
Houses assembled from foam block structures offer an optimal indoor climate with minimal heating costs. This is why this technology is actively used in the construction of low-rise cottages, townhouses and other similar buildings.
Main stages of building a heat block house
- Design taking into account the properties of foam concrete blocks measuring 600x300x200 mm with a density from 400 to 800 kg/m3.
- Preparation of the construction site and erection of a foundation 1,2 m deep and 0,6 m wide.
- Installation of walls 400 mm thick from foam blocks with reinforcement of openings and load points using rebar 12 mm in diameter.
- Erection of floors 3 m high, a rafter system with a pitch angle of 30 degrees and utility networks (electricity, water supply, sewerage).
- Sealing of all joints between blocks and abutments with polyurethane-based sealant 10 mm wide.
- Exterior finishing with plaster 20 mm thick and interior finishing with plasterboard.
- Landscaping of the surrounding area, including planting greenery and paving with paving slabs.
Design of foam concrete houses
Choosing foam concrete blocks
Material density from D300 to D1000 (the higher, the stronger). Geometric dimensions - standard 200x300x600 mm or modular. Manufacturer (factory-made blocks are preferable to adobe). Compliance with GOST requirements and quality certificates. Optimal delivery logistics (directly from the manufacturer).
The average cost of building houses from foam blocks is 115-210 thousand KZT/m2.
Foundation for foam concrete houses
The calculation is made taking into account the weight of the building, the soil conditions and climatic loads.
Insulation of a foam concrete house
A vapour barrier layer is always installed to protect against condensation.
Installation of foam concrete walls
1. Laying of the starting course of blocks on the levelled base.
2. Laying of walls with reinforcement every 5-6 courses using mesh.
3. Installation of reinforced ring beams and strengthening of openings.
4. Installation of floor slabs and the roof rafter system.
5. Sealing of all joints between blocks with special sealants.
6. Application of a protective and decorative facade layer.
Compliance with the technology ensures sufficiently high installation rates to build a house from foam concrete.
Reinforcement of foam concrete structures
The amount of reinforcement is calculated in the design.
Foam block house, fire resistance of structures
With a full set of measures, fire resistance limits reach EI 150.
Modular construction technology
200x300x600 mm - the most common option;
150x500x1000 mm - larger blocks for large buildings;
other sizes for custom designs.
The use of modules reduces waste and material losses, speeds up the erection of walls and floors, and standardises the bearing and jointing assemblies.
Modularity boosts construction productivity.
Thus, building a house from foam block allows you to create an energy-efficient low-rise house quickly and inexpensively, provided the required technologies for this material are followed. Foam concrete is an eco-friendly and durable alternative to more expensive construction solutions.
